We had announced it, in order to make up for the lack of women in this adventure we created a new crew made up exclusively of women: The suffragettes. The presence of suffragettes is not an historical aberration since women fought ardently for their civil rights. At the time of #meeto it seemed normal to include them in the adventure.
Here is the first draft of composition made by François Launay, we see a woman in a dress looking into the distance.
The more detailed version reveals women who are a little less frilly with the profile of adventurers wearing pants with a "New Deal" style.
The final version in purplish tones highlights their splendid Citroën P20 type vehicle identical to those fitted to the teams led by Charles Bedeaux during the white cruise.
The color of the suffragettes will be purple, initially we planned to use pink but in order to avoid emphasizing the genre of this team we assigned them the color purple.
