The Asia board is for us the initial version of the game. It is the ultimate version of "the Great Race" which gave us the initial impetus. It corresponds to the third Citroën expedition, that of Center Asia under the direction of G-M. Haardt and L. Audouin-Dubreuil.
Le plateau Asie est pour nous la version initiale du jeu. C'est la version ultime de "the Great Race" qui nous a donné l'impulsion de départ. Elle correspond à la troisième expédition Citroën, celle de Centre Asie sous la direction de G-M. Haardt et L. Audouin-Dubreuil.
It is interesting to compare the historical map of the expedition and the different routes envisaged following the refusal of the Soviet Union to transit through their territory. There is a very clear distinction between a northern route and a southern route. In the end, the north was chosen.
Il est interessant de comparer la carte historique de l'expédition et les différents parcours envisagés suite au refus de l'Union Soviétique de transiter par leur territoire. On distingue très clairement un parcours nord et un parcours sud. Au final c'est le nord qui fut choisit.
In our representation of the Asian continent in the game, we have assumed that all hypotheses were feasible, north, south, center and even Russia are possible routes with an equity of chance of success.
Dans notre représentation du continent Asie dans le jeu, nous sommes parti du principe que toutes les hypothèses était réalisable, nord, sud, centre et même Russie sont des itinéraires envisageables avec une équité de chances de succès.
